Job responsibilities:

Assist to formulate and improve the company's personnel, administrative systems, process standards, and supervise the implementation
Responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding
Managing payroll and issue T4
Be familiar with the relevant laws and regulations of employment
Actively communicate and respond to employees’ issues and concerns

Requirements:

A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or equivalent required

Job Responsibilities:

The Financial Administrator oversees the financial activities and is responsible for the daily operations of the Financial/Bookkeeping Department. The description below represents the most significant essential duties of the job but does not exclude others:

Create, update, and maintain the company’s financial/accounting system, policies, and procedures.
Full-Cycle Bookkeeping - Provide bookkeeping for the company including monthly accounting, WCB reports, payroll, ROE Web, interim financial statements, etc.
Enter data, maintain records, and create timely financial reports, etc.
Ability to communicate complex data clearly, and provide financial analysis, advice, and strategies in a timely manner.
Prepare financial statements – balance sheet, G/L, P/L, budget planning, etc.
Process accounts receivable/payable, expenses and receipts, payroll runs, and reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings, and responsible for bank reconciliation: comparing the company's general ledger to its bank statements and identify the source of the discrepancy (if any).
Control day to day incomes and expenditures.
General knowledge of Federal Government Acts, Employment and Social Development Canada, Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency, etc.
Strong and hands-on professional computer skills, including MS Office, G Suite, QuickBooks, etc.
Other related tasks assigned by the superiors.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail; organized and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the capability of working independently and as a member of our team.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year proven work experience related to the field, 1 year or above working experience in Internet/Software development industry is preferred, but not required.
Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
Solid understanding of accounting/bookkeeping principles, the relevant laws, and regulations.
