Job Description:

Our client company is a medium-sized accounting firm，working with private homeowners, individuals, investors, top realtors, builders and developers.

Today, we are helping our client to seek a bookkeeper. Based in Richmond, BC

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Keeping record and managing the information of the cash and cheque outflow/inflow, and reconciling bank accounts
-Preparing monthly operating statements and bookkeeping packages for various properties
-Providing financial budgeting assistance to managers
-Managing resident financial accounts and coordinating listings of rent receivables, tenant deposits, and prepaid rents with the rental team
-Preparing reports/data analysis for the purpose of GST/PST/MRDT/parking tax returns
-Organizing and managing the physical and electronic copies of accounting documents for audit reference
-Maintaining and managing business licenses application, property tax claims, and contracts/agreements
-Managing A/P and A/R and arranging regular and on time collections and payments
-Answering internal and external accounting-related inquiries

Requirements:
-Knowledge of bookkeeping practices and related educational background
-Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE)
-Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
-Proficiency in relevant computer applications – Microsoft Office, Excel, Quickbooks
-Knowledge of data management and financial data analysis
-Good communication skills, both verbal and written
-Bilingual is required: Fluency in English+Chinese
